No specific EPLAN knowledge is required for our basic training courses - basic PC skills and basic electrical engineering knowledge are completely sufficient. Our EPLAN training is also suitable for complete beginners who have never worked with the software before. For advanced courses and special workshops, we recommend basic knowledge of EPLAN Electric P8 or prior attendance of our basic training course. Participants should be able to create simple circuit diagrams and be familiar with the basic functions. For methodology training, practical EPLAN experience is helpful but not essential. We adapt each training course individually to the level of knowledge of the participants and ensure that everyone can follow the lessons. We can also offer special Education EPLAN programs (EPLAN Education) for educational institutions and adapt them to the respective curricula. For EPLAN Student participants, we also offer specific support for getting started in the software environment. In the case of mixed prior knowledge in the team, we recommend prior consultation in order to find the optimum training format - either staggered training courses for different levels of knowledge or a customized concept that meets all participants where they are. For EPLAN Preplanning, we offer specialized modules lasting between one and three days, depending on requirements. For company training courses, we can flexibly adapt the time structure - from compact intensive formats to modular training courses with longer intervals between units. Our EPLAN P8 training courses cover all the functions of the current software version and specifically address the latest features. All training courses follow a balanced concept of theory, demonstration and practical exercises, whereby we place particular emphasis on sufficient practice time. The training can be carried out either as classroom training on your premises, in our training rooms or as online training using professional training software. In terms of content, it is helpful if participants write down their specific questions and challenges in advance and let us know so that we can address them specifically. For company training courses, we ask for typical project examples and information on current workflows around two weeks before the start of the course. For EPLAN course participants, we provide a short introductory documentation in advance, which already conveys the first basics. From an organizational point of view, we recommend that participants are fully released for the duration of the training course in order to minimize interruptions and enable maximum concentration. An appropriate room design with sufficient space, good lighting and minimal disruptive factors also makes a significant contribution to learning success.
