5 days intensive course - 35h lessons

Day 1

Platform basics & user interface

The first day introduces you to the revolutionary EPLAN platform. You will get to know the completely redesigned user interface with ribbon technology and understand the main differences to older EPLAN versions. We demonstrate efficient navigation techniques and the intelligent customization of the user interface. The trainer will take into account the specific requirements of your company and provide tips for optimum integration into your existing processes. A special focus is placed on the conversion of older versions and the transfer of existing working methods.

Day 2

Project management & cloud integration

The second day will focus on the advanced management functions and cloud capabilities of the EPLAN platform. You will learn modern methods for project structuring, tools for data management and options for cross-location collaboration. We demonstrate how to set up cloud connections, show options for teamwork and explain how to share project data securely with colleagues and partners. The specific requirements of your IT infrastructure are taken into account and solutions for your individual requirements are developed.

Day 3

Components & connections

The third day is dedicated to component placement and connection technology in the new platform environment. You will learn about the integrated part management system, the improved integration of the EPLAN Data Portal and advanced search methods. In the area of connection technology, we practice the creation of terminals, cables and connections with the optimized tools of the platform. The trainer adapts the exercises to the components used in your company and shows how you can benefit from the improved functions.

Day 4

Automation & quality assurance

On the fourth day, we will focus on automation functions and quality assurance. You will learn about the extensive options for automating recurring tasks, from macros and scripting to user-defined workflows. In the area of quality assurance, we will practise setting up and carrying out test runs, interpreting results and making targeted corrections to identified problems. The trainer demonstrates proven automation strategies and helps you to adapt them to your company-specific processes.

Day 5

Plant project & migration

The last day combines what you have learned in a comprehensive system project and deals with the migration of existing data. You will plan a complex system from conception to the finished documentation and use all the functions you have learned in the EPLAN platform. You will also learn how to migrate existing projects and data from older EPLAN versions to the new platform and benefit from the extended functions. The trainer will address your individual requirements and work with you to develop strategies for successfully migrating your company to the EPLAN platform.
