You will take part in five full days of training, during which our experts will guide you live through all the key EPLAN functions. On completion, you will have mastered all the essential functions of EPLAN Electric P8 V2.9 and will be able to use them immediately in your projects.

5 days intensive course - 35h lessons

Day 1

Basics & user interface

In the first live webinar day, the trainer will guide you through the user interface of EPLAN Electric P8 V2.9. You will get to know the project structure interactively and practise efficient navigation techniques. The trainer explains the most important IEC standards and reference designations and demonstrates the basics of project structuring live on his screen. You carry out the same steps in parallel and can ask questions or share your screen at any time if you need support. The day is rounded off with practical exercises on using the EPLAN Data Portal.

Day 2

Circuit diagram creation & symbols

The second live day focuses on creating circuit diagrams. The trainer will show you in real time how to create complete circuit diagrams, place equipment and define connections. In interactive exercises, you will create and edit symbols and learn how to organize your symbol library efficiently. The live demonstration and the option to ask questions directly allow you to clarify any ambiguities immediately and apply what you have learned under guidance. Screen-sharing functions enable the trainer to provide direct support for individual challenges.

Day 3

Terminals, cables & PLC

On the third day of the live webinar, we will cover connection elements and control technology. In direct dialog with the trainer, you will learn professional terminal planning from the definition of different terminal types to the automatic generation of terminal evaluations. The trainer will demonstrate techniques for structured presentation and documentation of cables and wires. In the PLC area, you will practise the integration of control systems with superstructures, assignment plans and inputs/outputs - with the opportunity to ask questions and discuss individual scenarios at any time.

Day 4

Evaluations & quality assurance

The fourth day of the live webinar focuses on automated evaluations and quality assurance. The trainer will demonstrate the creation of parts lists, terminal and cable evaluations and connection evaluations in real time. In an interactive dialog, you will learn how to systematically search for faults using the message window, how to carry out test runs and how to correct identified problems in a targeted manner. Thanks to the live format, specific problems can be addressed directly and solved together, which guarantees a high level of practical relevance.

Day 5

Documentation & practical project

The last day of the live webinar combines what has been learned in a comprehensive practical project. The trainer demonstrates advanced techniques for documentation and output, including print and plot management. Together you will plan a complete project from conception to finished documentation, applying all the functions you have learned. The trainer will guide you intensively through the project, provide immediate feedback and point out alternative solutions. At the end, you will receive valuable tips for further consolidation and can clarify any final questions in direct dialog.
